Chef - Koi Cafe

Job role:

Here at the koi café we are looking for a chef to join our brilliant team. To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has previous experience as a Cook/Chef in a busy, energetic establishment. You should thrive under pressure and be passionate about delivering consistently great food to customers.

Responsibility’s:

Have a passion for hospitality
Ensuring all dishes are prepared according to specification and served at the correct quality, portion size, and temperature
Ensuring consistent and smooth running of food production
Liaise with all restaurant personnel to effectively work as a team
Ensure high level of hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained within the kitchen

Successful candidate:

Beneficial

Previous experience within a kitchen / café desirable
EHO level 2 or higher preferable or will be provided.

Hours:

We are looking for both part-time and full-time positions.

Working hours Mon-Sat 8:30am-17:30pm and Sunday 9:30am-17:00pm

Working days to be confirmed with successful applicant.

Front of house - Koi Cafe

Part time & Full time hours available

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Front of House Cafe Staff. As a front of house team member, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers as they enter the cafe and provide them with menus

- Take customer orders and communicate them accurately to the kitchen staff

- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner

- Attend to customer needs and requests, ensuring their satisfaction

- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and counters

- Handle cash and process customer payments accurately

- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experience

- Assist in the preparation of food and beverages when required

- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities

- Positive and friendly attitude towards customers and team members

- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately

- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Working Hours:

This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. Weekend and evening availability is required.

Tropical/Marine Sales Assistants - Perfect Aquatics

We are looking for full time Sales Assistants to expand the team on the Tropical and Marine Department!

This role will include Bank Holiday’s and weekends

Working under the Department Manager, the ideal candidate will have a keen interest in all areas of fishkeeping, with at least one year experience in fishkeeping (hobbyist or commercial)

As a sales assistant, the job role will require the following;

- You will be required to deliver excellent standards of livestock care and store presentation

- Getting products and merchandise onto the shop floor, organising stock on the shelf and making sure it is correctly priced

- Maintain our high standards of customer care by being approachable and friendly

- Communicate your wealth of fishkeeping knowledge to our customers to make sure they receive the correct advice

- Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment

- Complete sales correctly ensuring customers leave the store fully satisfied

- Be self motivated, positive and organised

- Be reliable, hardworking and eager to learn

- Suitable for keen hobbyist’s, college leavers or people from a sales driven background with a passion for fishkeeping

- Full training will be provided
